no i have one layer with the sketch on (base)...
then a bg layer...
then a colour blocking layer...
then a blending layer...if you use painter tick the ' pick up underlying colour ' box...it helped me loads...XD...
then i add any extra layers for details or blending modes....
i do flatten layers when i remember too or when my file gets too big...but i always keep a bg layer and a main image layer...XD...
