One Lense - process by xHaStex One Lense - process by xHaStex
here is the process i used for creating One Lense [link] ...
took around 2 1/2 hours...

step 1 - pencil sketch...

step 2 - in Painter X...colour ' scribbles ' using Detail Oil Brush and Just Add Water...

step 3 - blocked in the bg using the same brushes but adjusting the size and jitter to suit my needs...also used a bit of the Spattery Air Brush...

step4 - adding more colour and structure to the face using the same brushes as step 2 but also using the Wet Soft Acrylic to add a little texture...

step 5 - after increasing the image size i continued to add texture and little details using the same brushes as step 4 and the Loaded Pallet Knife and Blender brushes...

i did a slight contrast adjustment in Paint Shop Pro to finish the piece...XD...

ch33r5 buddy...
no i have one layer with the sketch on (base)...
then a bg layer...
then a colour blocking layer...
then a blending layer...if you use painter tick the ' pick up underlying colour ' box...it helped me loads...XD...
then i add any extra layers for details or blending modes....
i do flatten layers when i remember too or when my file gets too big...but i always keep a bg layer and a main image layer...XD...
